Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the degrading in a washing effect by disposing a water supply section in the upstream position of a feed pipe and providing the down stream position with a compressed air supply section. CONSTITUTION: A connecting pipe 29 is connected to a faucet 9 and a connecting pipe 25 to a faucet 10 respectively and a faucet 11 is held open. Water falls by gravity from an elevated water tank 1 and flows out of a faucet 11 through a vertical main pipe 2 and a branch 3. A water feed pump 27 is, thereupon, started and after the flow rate is controlled by a flow rate controller 28, the water is fed from the faucet 9 to the branch 3, by which the water is accelerated. A compressor 21 is then started and the compressed air is intermittently fed into the stream of the water accelerated in the branch 3 from the faucet 10 via a solenoid valve 23. As a result, the air mass comes into contact with the inside of the branch 3, by which floating rust is washed away and the washing effect is enhanced.
