Abstract

PURPOSE:To use a transmission line efficiently by allowing each station to switch the border of a communication band between a synchronizing signal and an asynchronizing signal on a loop communication network depending on time simultaneously so as to attain the switching of the border in a short time with a simple control. CONSTITUTION:In receiving a border setting request from a communication control section 43, a communication band management section rewrites a side A being a side to be rewritten commanded by a switching display section 18 at the reception according to a new border channel number #i-1 by a write control section 6 and uses a timer setting section 15 so as to set a border switching timing (t) to a timer 14, which is started. In counting the setting timing value, the timer 14 applies display switching command to the display section 18. The display section 18 inverts the switching display to the write control section 6 and the readout control section 9. Thus, the band storage section 1 is brought into the state of side A readout, side B write from the state of side A write and side B readout. Thus, in receiving a request from a line function section 31 or the like, the control section 43 reads out the band of a synchronizing or asynchronizing signal from the side B to apply the communication at a new band.
