Abstract

PURPOSE:To send an inter-station signal by coding an inter-station signal and storing it temporarily, selecting a prescribed frame and inserting and sending the coded inter-station signal to be read in bit stealing through the use of a main signal transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Plural channels comprising a prescribed bit number with a master signal inserted thereto respectively are subject to time division multiplex to constitute one frame between opposed terminal station devices and the plural frames are subject to time division multiplex and the result is sent as a multi- frame in the communication system. The terminal station equipment in this system is provided with an inter-station signal storage means A and an inter- station signal insertion means B. When the inter-station signal to be sent is inputted, the means A codes the inter-station signal and stores it temporarily. Then the means B selects a prescribed frame among plural frames for each multi-frame and inserts the coded inter-station signal read from the means A in a prescribed channel in the frame in a way of bit stealing and sends the result.
