Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain each oscillation output in a way of having in-phase or opposite phase relation substantially by providing plural voltage controlled oscillation circuits and coupling circuits so as to supply a DC control voltage to an input line. CONSTITUTION:In a voltage controlled biphase oscillator U comprising voltage controlled oscillation circuits 2A, 2B and a coupling circuit 8, the circuit 2A outputs an oscillation output SA subjected to frequency control by a DC control voltage VE from an input line 1 to an output line 4A. Further, the circuit 2B outputs the oscillation output SB subjected to frequency control by the voltage VE to an output line 4B and the circuit 8 gives part of the output SA of the circuit 2A to the circuit 2B and part of the output SB of the circuit 2B to the circuit 2A. Thus, the outputs SA, SB are obtained to have an equal frequency. Even when the circuits 2A, 2B are constituted that the outputs SA, SB have a sufficiently short period, the outputs SA, SB are obtained to have substantially in-phase or opposite phase.
