Abstract
PURPOSE: To form an anticorrosive cover easily and economically by inserting a sheet-like bent section between a supporting member and a holding member for heating, cooling after heating and softening the bent section and bending and forming the sheet-like substance.
CONSTITUTION: A bent section 8 in a thermoplastic resin sheet-like substance 1 is inserted between a supporting member 4 consisting of the metallic plate-like members 2, 3 and a holding member 7 consisting of the metallic plate-like members 5, 6. The bent section 8 is heated and softened by heat source 9. Then, the bent section 8 is cooled to bend and form the bent section 8 of the sheet-like substance 1. According to the constitution, an anticorrosive cover for underwater driving member having the bending sections with an optional gap can be formed easily and economically.
