Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain strong wave dissipation force by inclining the top ends of the steel made cell structures, constituting a permeable wave dissipation levee by arranging the cells at required intervals in the front and in the rear and forming an apparent sectional shape of the levee body in a continuous slope. CONSTITUTION:A permeable wave dissipation levee is built by arranging the steel made cell structures 10 in two or more rows at required intervals. And, the top ends 12 of the steel made cell structures 10 on the side of surging rise to such a height that waves can go over, but, at the same time, they are formed into slope 14 falling to the side of surging. The top ends 12 of the steel made cell structures 10 in the front row rise higher than the height of the cells in the rear row, but, at the same time, they are formed into a slope continuous with the incline of the cells in the front row. Accordingly, the sectional shape of the wave dissipation levee can provide a levee body with an apparent long incline, thus the effect of the wave dissipation can be increased.
