Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the strain of a ball-moving surface by connecting both ends of a C-shaped lock ring for connecting the upper and lower seat rings each provided with a ring-shaped groove in its inside surface, with an expansion cylinder by which a tightening force is tangentially applied, so that the output of the cylinder can be reduced. CONSTITUTION: The lower end of the upper seat ring 2 projected downward from an outer ring 23 and its flange 2a are placed on a lower seat ring 1 fixed on a vehicle body frame 13 and its flange 1a. On one outside end of a C-shaped lock ring 6, the base part 7a of an arm 7 extended beyond a cutout part is fixed; and on the other outside end thereof, the base part 8a of the arm 8 opposite to the arm 7 is fixed; and the middle part of the ends of both arms 7, 8 is connected by an expansion cylinder 9. Thus, when the upper and lower seat rings 1, 2 are connected, the tightening force of the expansion cylinder 9 via the arms 7, 8 only bends the C-shaped lock ring 6, and therefore strain is not caused in the upper and lower seat rings 1, 2 or the like.
