Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate taking operation of culture bottles, by intermittently transporting a container at each line width of the culture bottles, placing the culture bottles on a feed conveyor by a taking mechanism, inoculating seed fungi by a seed fungus inoculating device and returning the culture bottles to the container by a storing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A conveyor charged with culture bottles is placed on a transporting conveyor 14 and the container is intermittently transferred at each line width of the culture bottles. A taking mechanism 17 is driven with the transfer of the container and the culture bottles are placed line by line on a feed conveyor 18. Seed fungi are inoculated into the culture bottles on a transfer path of the feed conveyor 18 by a seed fungus inoculating mechanism such as a seed fungus inoculating machine 26 and the culture bottles are placed line by line on the container being transported by each line width on an outlet conveyor 16 by a storing mechanism 34 for the culture bottles.
