Abstract

PURPOSE:To image-pick up the still picture of a frame without a mechanical type shutter by utilizing a CCD to which an electrode accumulating part is provided by the number of a picture element besides a photo-sensitizing part and delivering unnecessary electrode. CONSTITUTION:When a release 201 is pushed on, a CCD driving pulse is generated. A field shift pulse P1 is generated and the picture element electrode of an odd number of raws is delivered. After the delivery is completed, a field shift pulse P2 is generated and the picture element electrode of an even number of raws is delivered. After the delivering action, third and fourth field shift pulses P3 and P4 are supplied and they are delivered during a second vertical blanking period. After the delivery is ended, the picture element electrode of the odd number of raws is read by a fifth field shift pulse P5 and it is transferred to an accumulating part 25 by a vertical transferring pulse V1. Thus, a period T2 between the field shift pulses P3 and P5 goes to be a shutter time to the picture element of the odd number of raws and the period between the field shift pulses P4 and P6 guest to be the shutte time to the picture element of the even number of raws.
