In the above-mentioned tilt sensor, a shielding plate having a shielding part is pivotally supported between a light transmitting plate to which a light emitting element is attached and a light receiving plate to which an optical fiber is attached, and the inclination of the shielding plate is adjusted according to the inclination of the vehicle body. The structure is such that the amount of inclination of the vehicle body is detected by increasing or decreasing the amount of light received by an optical fiber attached to a light receiving plate.

The structure of the inclination sensor of the present invention is intended to provide a structure in which the shielding plate smoothly pivots and tilts in accordance with the inclination of the vehicle body.
Magnet plates are arranged facing each light receiving plate, and the magnetic repulsion between the magnetic plates causes the shielding plate itself to always pivot in a direction perpendicular to the axis. The general idea is that the shielding plate does not come into contact with the light transmitting plate and the light receiving plate, but slides according to the inclination of the vehicle body, and can increase or decrease the light emitted from the light emitting elements.

FIG. 3 is a side sectional view showing a state in which the light transmitting plate 1, shielding plate 2, and light receiving plate 3 configured as described above are housed in the outer case 5. As can be seen from this sectional view, a pivot 4 is provided between the light transmitting plate 1 and the light receiving plate 3, and the shielding plate 2 is pivotally supported on this pivot 4. Moreover, the shielding plate 2 has elastic stoppers 13c and 13c installed between the light transmitting plate 1 and the light receiving plate 3.

On the other hand, the magnetic plate B of the shielding plate 2 is disposed such that its surfaces face the magnetic plate A of the light transmitting plate 1 and the magnetic plate C of the light receiving plate 3, respectively, and are magnetically repelled. That is, as shown in FIG. 4, if the magnetism of the shielding plate 2 side of the magnet plate A of the light transmitting plate 1 is N, then the magnetism of one surface (light transmitting plate 1 side) of the magnet plate B fitted in the shielding plate 2 is N.

At this time, let S be the magnetism of the shielding plate 2 side of the magnet plate C attached to the light receiving plate 3. As a result, the magnet plates A and B become magnetically repulsive, so that the shielding plate 2 does not come into contact with the light transmitting plate 1. Similarly, since the magnet plates B and C are also in a magnetically repulsive state, the shielding plate 2 and the light receiving plate 3 do not come into contact with each other.

As described above, according to the structure of the inclination sensor of the present invention, the shielding plate 2 does not come into contact with the light transmitting plate 1 and the light receiving plate 3 no matter how the vehicle body to which it is attached tilts. The slope will adapt to the slope. In other words, the shielding piece 22 sensitively blocks the amount of light emitted from the light emitting element, and the optical fiber senses the amount of received light and electrically converts the increase or decrease in the amount of received light to perform a tilt sensor function. I can do it.
