PURPOSE: To obtain embossed characters and patterns on a substrate sheet by machining after gluing a preformed embossing base placed on a positioning base to the sheet.
CONSTITUTION: A preformed base for embossing 2 is placed on a metal base 10 for positioning and pressure adhesive 30 are coated on the base 2. Then, the substrate sheet is placed on the base 2 and pressed by a thick plate 20 to glue them. The embossed base stuck on the sheet is machined to form desired characters and patterns. The resin used for the base 2 should be transparent after setting and machining and also keep adequate hardness at machining and adhesive strength with substrate sheet.
