Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent separation of lubricant film by coating a soft metal lubri cant film with molybdenum disulfide. CONSTITUTION:Upon interruption of power supply to an electromagnet, a rotor shaft 10 contacts with protection dry bearings 21, 22 and supported rotatably. High speed rotation of the rotor shaft is transmitted abruptly to the protection dry bearings 21, 22 to cause rotation of inner races 26 thereof with same rotary speed. Consequently, balls 24 make rolling contact with the ball side surface 26a of the inner race 26 and the ball side surface 27a of an outer race 27, but since soft metal lubricant films 31 are formed on the surfaces thereof and the uppermost surface layer 32 is coated with molybdenum disulfide, smooth lubrica tion can be achieved without requiring lubricant. As a result, separation of lubricant film due to reactive gas can be prevented and deterioration of durabil ity can be prevented.
