PURPOSE: To make paper having fiber orientation directions in various angles based on the flow of a wire by directing a slit-like nozzle at a longitudinal angle based on the width direction of the wire and approximately vertically disposing the slit-like nozzle on the basis of the flat surface of the wire. CONSTITUTION: A flow box is disposed above the upper wire 11 of each former, and the slit-like nozzle 22 of the flow box is disposed at a longitudinal angle which is <=45 degree based on the width W direction of the wire and is different from others for each former. The slit-like nozzle 22 is approximately vertically attached on the basis of the flat surface of the wire 11.
