Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare an interlining cloth especially suitable as an interlining cloth of a clothing using silk, or the like, without generating hitting of the interlining cloth to the surface cloth, generating curling in a wet state or damaging feeling of the surface cloth by including silk staple fibers in a prescribed ratio. CONSTITUTION: This interlining cloth contains >=10 wt.% of silk staple fibers (preferably 38-51 mm length) and is preferably produced by a dip-adhering method or a hot fusion method. Preferably, the content of the silk staple fibers is 10-95 wt.% in the case of the dip-adhering method and 10-50 wt.% in the case of the hot fusion method.
