Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a disposable diaper capable of setting the diaper in a prescribed wearing state even on directing the lengthwise direction of the diaper in either of the directions toward a wearer by installing pressure sensitive tapes at four positions of each of the side parts in the vicinity of one end thereof and each of the side parts in the vicinity of another end thereof respectively in lengthwise direction of the diaper main body. CONSTITUTION: This disposable diaper is obtained by installing pressure sensitive tapes 7, 8, 9, 10 at the side parts 3, 4, 5, 6 respectively so as to make a joined state of each of the side parts 3, 4 in the vicinity of one end with each of the side parts 5, 6 in the vicinity of another end in lengthwise direction thereof, while directing the lengthwise direction of the diaper main body 2 in a front to rear direction to a wearer. In the case of applying to a male, the end part in the side installed with the pressure sensitive tapes 7, 8 is directed to be placed in backside of the wearer and the pressure sensitive tapes 7, 8 are adhered so as to fix the side parts 3, 4 in the joined state with the side parts 5, 6. The pressure sensitive tapes 9, 10 are nipped between the side parts 3, 5 and the side parts 4, 6. A highly water absorbing area 15 is placed in the front of the wearer. In the case of applying to a female, the direction is reversed and the pressure sensitive tapes 9, 10 are made as an adhered state.
