Abstract

PURPOSE:A photodegradable film or tape which produces no noxious chlorine gases when burnt after photodegradation and does not pollute soil, etc. when discarded, by forming a resin composition formed by combining an SR resin of a specified composition with an SB rubber of a specified composition into a film. CONSTITUTION:50-80pts.wt. block copolymer resin (A) comprising 60-90wt.% styrenic hydrocarbon (e.g., styrene) and 40-10wt.% conjugated diene hydrocarbon (e.g., butadiene) is mixed with 50-20pts.wt. block copolymer rubber (B) comprising 10-40wt.% styrenic hydrocarbon and 90-60wt.% conjugated hydrocarbon. The obtained resin composition is formed into a film to obtain the purpose photodegradable film or tape. The product has excellent mechanical strengths and suitable photodegradability, and can be suitably used as a material for use in agriculture, civil engineering and construction.
