Air support mats are used for this purpose. As shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B, this air support mat is formed into a cylindrical shape from a rubber tube, a rubber molded product, a vinyl chloride sheet, etc., and air is supplied to the air support mat 1 from an air pipe 3 connected to an inlet 2. When injected, the air support mat 1 becomes flexible and stretchable, so that the central part of the air support mat 1 becomes as shown in FIG. 1B.
In particular, the air support mat 1 has the disadvantage that it expands, approaches a spherical shape as a whole, and eventually bursts. Also, even if the air support mat 1 does not burst, the seated person is supported by the spherical surface, so it receives local loads and This has the disadvantage of giving a feeling of instability to the seated person, and as shown in FIG. However, when air is injected into the air support mat 1, the central part of the air support mat 1 becomes spherical as described above, and the seated person cannot be stably supported. Furthermore,
The above-mentioned air support mat has the drawback that its elasticity changes greatly depending on the temperature conditions, and when air is injected under high temperature conditions, the air support mat stretches too much, resulting in plastic deformation or bursting.

う。 The object of the present invention is to provide an air support mat for a seat that has the flexibility of an air support mat, and that does not become spherical when inflated, thereby supporting the seated person in an extremely stable manner, and that provides an excellent seating comfort. This will become clear from the detailed description given below with reference to the drawings.

This air support mat 11 can be applied to lumbar support, side support, thigh support, etc., and has an internal tube 15 that is flexible and stretchable, and an outer skin with little stretch provided outside to cover this internal tube 15. 16, and the inner tube 15 can be freely expanded and contracted inside the outer skin 16. The internal tube 15 is formed into a flat shape made of a flexible and stretchable material such as a rubber tube, a rubber molded product, or a chlorinated beer sheet.

An air pump (not shown) is connected to the air pipe 13, and air is injected into the internal tube 15 from the air pipe 13 in response to the operation of the air pump. The upper surface 16a of the outer skin 16 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape, and the side surface 16b is formed in a bellows shape,
Normally, the upper surface 16a of the outer skin 16 is biased toward the lower surface 16c.

When air is injected through the inner tube 15, the inner tube 15 expands, causing the upper surface 16a of the outer skin 16 to bulge upward until the bellows-shaped side surface 16b of the outer skin 16 becomes substantially straight, as shown in FIG. . Furthermore, air pipe 13
Alternatively, a safety valve can be attached to the internal tube 15 to prevent more air from being injected into the internal tube 15 than necessary. In this case, if a whistle is made to sound when the safety valve is activated, the valve can be stored in the seat and removed from the outside. The expansion of the invisible air support mat 11 can be recognized audibly.

ある。 The above is the configuration of one embodiment of the seat air support mat that is the basis of the present invention. According to this configuration, the seat air support mat 11 is composed of an inner tube 15 and an outer skin 16, and this air The support mat 11 has the soft cushioning properties and seating feeling of the inner tube 15, and when sufficient air is injected into the inner tube 15, the inner tube 15 is prevented from being deformed by the outer skin 16.
Since the upper surface 16a of the outer skin 16 is formed into a flat plate shape, there is no risk that the central part of the inner tube 15 will particularly expand and give a feeling of instability to the seated person, and furthermore, even if the air support mat is used in high temperature conditions. The internal tube 15 is not plastically deformed. In this embodiment, since the outer skin 16 is formed into a substantially flat rectangular parallelepiped, the sense of stability is further improved.

ある。 FIG. 5 shows an embodiment of the air support mat for a seat according to the present invention, and parts corresponding to those of the embodiment which is the basis of the present invention described above are given the same reference numerals, and further parts are designated by the same reference numerals. Although detailed explanation is omitted, a band-shaped shape retaining member 21 is inserted between the inner tube 15 and the outer skin 16, and when the inner tube 15 expands, the inner tube 15 is expanded by the shape retaining member 21. It is divided into sections. Therefore, the expansion force that causes the center of the inner tube 15 to expand can be dispersed, and the expansion force applied to the center of the outer skin 16 can be reduced, making the outer skin 16 more stable than when the shape retaining member 21 is not used. Can be formed from flexible materials,
This can further improve the comfort of the seat.

Although the case where 6b is formed into a bellows shape has been explained,
Rather than having a bellows shape, it may be formed simply using a flexible material, or it may be configured such that the rectangular upper surface 16a and lower surface 16c are connected by a band-shaped connecting member. In short, the upper surface of the outer skin 16 Any configuration is sufficient as long as it can bulge upward in accordance with the expansion of the internal tube 15.
