Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize the microwave amplifier circuit which uses this isolator, by providing capacitors between input-output sections and a resonating section.
CONSTITUTION: Chip capacitors 1 are provided between a resonating section 5 and input-output sections 6. Since the conductor patterns 2 of the input-output sections 6 are isolated from the resonating section in respect of the direct current, no electric current flows to a sub-carrier (which functions as a ground) 7 through a terminating section 4 even when a voltage is applied across the input-output sections 6. When a microwave amplifier circuit is constituted by respectively arranging MIC isolators 10 before and after a microwave amplifier 20, it is not necessary to provide a capacitor to the amplifier 20, because each of the isolators 10 itself is provided with chip capacitor 1. Therefore, the microwave amplifier 20 can be miniaturized.
