〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、圧粉体、特に複雑形状を有するセラ
ミツクス粉末の成形に適した圧粉体の静水圧プレ
スによる成形法に関する。 〔従来の技術〕 静水圧成形法は、均質な粉末成形体を得ること
ができるという優れた特性を持つているため、従
来から圧粉体の成形に広く用いられている。 静水圧成形型としては通常ゴム製のものが使用
され、そのゴム製の型内に粉末を充填して静水圧
を加えて成形される。 しかし、ゴム型を用いたのでは得られる成形体
の形状に限界があり、丸棒、板のような単純な形
状の場合でも、エツジのカケ、軸方向に対するラ
ミネーシヨン、ワレ等が生じることもある。また
複雑な形状を有する部品の成形に当たつては、完
全な性状を有する圧粉体を得ることが極めて困難
である。その原因の一つは、圧力を除去した際に
弾性体であるゴム型が膨張して、圧粉体を内側か
ら押しつけたり、たたいたりして圧粉体に引張或
いは曲げ応力が加えられることにある。 このゴム型による欠点を除去するために、圧力
を除去しても、圧粉体とともに収縮した状態を保
つワツクス、熱可塑性樹脂等からなる型を用いる
成形法が特公昭56−18641号公報に開示されてい
る。 しかしながら、ワツクスや熱可塑性樹脂を型材
として用いる成形は、手間がかかり作業性が落ち
ること、それ自身塑性変形量が大きいため精度の
高い圧粉体を得ることが困難であること、また、
得られた成形体素地の表面状態が悪く後加工が必
要であること等の問題がある。 〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕 本発明において解決すべき課題は、従来のゴム
型或いはワツクス、熱可塑性樹脂製の成形型を用
いたのでは対応できない複雑形状を持ち且つ精度
が要求される物品でも正確に且つ安定して得るこ
とができる静水圧プレス成形方法を提供すること
にあり、静水圧成形の適用の限界を広げる点にあ
る。 〔問題点を解決するための手段〕 成形時の静水圧において容易に塑性変形し低温
で溶融する低融点金属、合金を型材として用いる
ことによつて、成形時に低融点合金自身が塑性変
形を起し、成形粉末への圧力の伝播が阻害される
ことがないので均質な成形体を得ることができ
る。 また、型材として用いる低融点合金自体は比較
的低温で溶解除去できるので型抜きの難しい複雑
な形状を有する部品の成形に容易に適用できる。 かかる低融点合金を型材として使用した場合に
は、繰り返し利用が可能になるので、コストの面
からも有利である。 本発明に使用する低融点合金としては、静圧成
形下で容易に塑性変形を起こし、鋳造成形性が良
い融点が300℃以下の例えば表1に示すものが好
適に使用できる。

た。 まず第1図に示す通常の金型本体1の角部材2
を融点が47℃のビスマスろう合金を鋳造して得た
のち、金型本体1に接合した。この金型本体1を
金型基台3にセツトし成形型を作製した。次に第
2図に示すように、この成形型をゴム枠型4内に
セツトし、金型本体1、角部材2とゴム枠型4と
の空間にセラミツクス粉末6を振動充填し、充填
口をラバー板5で閉塞シールした。 次いで、この枠型全体を静水圧プレスを用いて
外周から静水圧を加え前記充填したセラミツクス
粉末6を加圧して圧粉体を成形した。成形後、静
水圧プレスから取り出した成形型よりゴムを取り
外し、成形体全体を90℃に保持したエアバスに入
れ、低融点合金部を溶解除去し、金型本体1、角
部材2を外した後、第3図に示す断面形状を持つ

静圧が均一に伝播して均質な成形体を得ることが
できるとともに、しかも成形後低温で溶解除去で
きるので複雑な形状の成形体の型抜きも容易にで
き、更に、溶解除去した型材合金は、再使用が可
能である等の効果を奏する。
