Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate an output transformer to reduce the size and to use an uninterruptible power source safely by rectifying and smoothing a commercial power supply to double voltage, and supplying power to a load through a normal mode filter and a common mode filter. CONSTITUTION:A commercial power supply 1 is rectified and smoothed to a double voltage by a rectifier 2, pulse-widthmodulated by a PWM inverter 3, and a sine AC is supplied through a normal mode filter 4 and a common mode filter 5 to a load 9. The filter 5 is composed of a common mode choke coil L3, high frequency bypass capacitors C4, C5, and second high frequency bypass capacitors C6, C7 having smaller capacities than those of the capacitors C4, C5. The connecting point of the capacitors C4, C5 is connected to the input terminals of the capacitors C1, C2 of the rectifier 2, and the connecting point of capacitors C6, C7 is grounded. Thus, a noise can be suppressed without increasing leakage current.
