Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the low cost and to reduce the effect of an error onto other communication by detecting the occurrence of an error in response to the presence of a signal through a signal line and forming a closed loop for each small area operative normally if the error takes place. CONSTITUTION:The major part of the network communication equipment consists of a communication controller 1, signal detection control circuits 2a, 2b, analog switches 3a, 3b, drivers 4a, 4b and receivers 5a, 5b. The signal detection control circuits 2a,2b among the components above are constituted by using a retriggerable multivibrator. Thus, the network communication equipment detects the occurrence of an error in response to the presence of a signal through the signal line and if the error takes place, a closed loop is formed for each small area capable of being operated normally to maintain the communication. Thus, the cost of the equipment is inexpensive and the effect of an error of an information terminal equipment onto the communication of other areas is reduced.
