Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent damage to members such as plates, etc., and facillitate a change of design by forming both fixed plates and movable plates unmovable in the direction of rotation of the movable shaft and movable in the direction of their thickness. CONSTITUTION:When an external force is applied to a movable shaft 2 as torque, movable plates 6, 6... are rotated in a viscous fluid A, a viscous shear resistance force is generated due to the viscous fluid A between the movable plates and stationary fixed plates 7, 7..., and the resistance force acts as a resistance against the external force to allow the device to effectively function as a damper. And, the clearance of the entire plate equally divides the plate-free length H, so that troubles such as damage to the members due to locally excessive resistance do not occur.
