Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of self-closing of rollers to smoothen the motion of the rollers, and also prevent the falling of the rollers, by interposing between the adjacent rollers an intermediate member having concave surfaces and provided with opposite support projections, and forming support grooves corresponding to the support grooves in a circulation passage. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate member 7 is interposed between adjacent rollers 1, and it is formed with concave surfaces 6 on opposite sides corresponding to a convex surface of each roller 1. During movement of a bearing body 2 along a guide member 5, each intermediate member 7 operates to prevent direct contact between the adjacent rollers 1. Therefore, hindrance of motion of the rollers 1 due to application of counter forces to the contact surfaces between the adjacent rollers 1, namely, self-closing of the rollers 1 may be prevented to thereby smoothen the motion. Each intermediate member 7 is provided with opposite support projections 8 engaging support grooves 9, so that falling of the intermediate member 7 at a roller exposed position 4 may be prevented. Further, since each roller 1 is surroundedly held by the concave surfaces 6 of the adjacent intermediate members 7, falling of the roller 1 may be prevented.
