Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a solar battery set which is applied to a ground having small radiation energy density and has high reliability without damage by providing opposite angle setting means for oppositely facing solar battery units at a predetermined facing angle at the time of developing the set in which the units are arranged on each unit area to be folded like a folding screen. CONSTITUTION:A clamper 11 is provided at one end of a fold 1c which becomes a crest of a solar battery unit 2 at its installation side, and a setting rod 12 for setting it at a facing angle theta is provided at the clamper. The end of the rod 12 forms a connecting section 12a, and is engaged with adjacent folding clamper 11. Accordingly, the length of the rod 12 is designed to have a length responsive to the facing angle. Or, a setting plate 20 for supporting a fold 1c to set its height may be used. The height (h) is designed for that responsive to the length of a unit area 1a and setting angle theta. A solar batter is preferably of an amorphous silicon solar batter provided on a flexible electrically insulating substrate. A support is formed of a cloth having a light weight, high flexibility and mechanical strength, and a window material uses a transparent polymer film or sheet.
