Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable image by incorporating arom. polycarboxylic anhydride into a titled toner. CONSTITUTION:The arom. polycarboxylic anhydride is incorporated into the toner. This compd. is used in a 0.1-10pts.wt., more preferably 0.1-5pts.wt. range per 100pts.wt. binder resin. The arom. polycarboxylic anhydride to be used may be substd. with a polar atom such as halogen atom, aliphat. hydrocarbon group, nitro group, etc. The benzene ring may be alone or >=2 pieces and may be condensed. The stable image having excellent resolving power and fine line reproducibility is thereby obtd.
