Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound with ultraviolet curability outstanding in wet adhesivity, useful for adhesives, by reaction, with a triol, of diisocyanate polyester prepolymer and a urethane compound containing carboxyl group and polymerizable unsaturated group. CONSTITUTION:(A) A diisocyanate prepolymer derived from reaction between (i) a diisocyanate compound of formula I (R1 is 6-20C-hydrocarbon) and (ii) a polyester prepolymer comprising a reaction product from aromatic skeleton- contg. diol and lactone and (B) a compound prepared by reaction between (iii) a diisocyanate compound, (iv) a diol having carboxyl group through 1-11C side chain and (v) a terminal hydroxyl group-contg. radically polymerizable compound are made to react followed by reaction of the resulting product with a triol, thus obtaining the objective compound constituted of triol residue and structural unit of formula II (X is polyester residue; Y is unit having carboxyl group through 1-11C side chain; Q is polymerizable unsaturated group- carrying unit).
