り二成分現像剤を供給し、層厚規制部材により所
定の厚さの現像剤の薄層を形成し、感光体ドラム
に対するニツプ部分に供給し、感光体ドラムに形
成された静電潜像に対して、トナーを飛翔させる
ように構成してなる装置において、 前記マグネツトローラに現像剤を供給するため
のパドルローラを、一定の現像剤の搬送能力を有
する本体部分と、該本体部分の両側に、次第に現
像剤の搬送能力が小さくなるようなテーパ部分と
で構成するとともに、 パドルローラの本体部分の長さを、感光体ドラ
ムの画像領域よりも短く形成し、該ローラの長さ
を画像領域よりも長く、且つ、マグネツトローラ
長さよりも短く形成したことを特徴とする現像装
