Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration during the long-period storage by deactivating the activated hydrogen or halogen contained in a polymer solid electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A polymer solid electrolyte used for a cell contains alkaline metal or alkaline earth metal or activated hydrogen or halogen directly reacted with their ions. A material capable of substituting the activated hydrogen or halogen with another inert group is added to this polymer solid electrolyte. The activated hydrogen or halogen contained in the solid electrolyte structure can be thereby deactivated, and the polymer solid electrolyte with no deterioration during the long-period storage can be obtained. The performance deterioration of the polymer solid electrolyte cell using it can be prevented.
