の上方部に投射ユニツトを固定してこれを構成し
ているものである。しかしながらかかる構成によ
る装置は、被研掃物に向け投射された研掃材が外
部へ飛散するのを防止する為に回転ドラムの後半
部に内設する螺旋状の腰高リードによりこれを図
つているが、これとても完全なシール方法ではな
く、ドラム内で乱反射した鋼球が往々にして外部
に飛散して危険なものであり、又回転ドラムの一
方である入口側より被研掃物を投入してこれを転
動せしめつつ投射材より研掃するに際し、被研掃
物の転動は回転ドラムの内胴面に固着した小突片
によるものである為、被研掃物の形状によつては
転動し難く、その上投射ユニツトを固定している
ので研掃材の投射パターンが一様である為、研掃
ムラが生じ易く且つドラム内が偏摩耗し、更にこ
れらのシヨツトブラスト装置は大略ドラムカバー
がないので被研掃物の転動音と投射材の衝突音等
がドラム内で大きく反響し騒音の発生源となる等
未だ種々改良すべき問題点を包含しているもので
ある。

に該ドラムの内周面を多角形にすると共に、この
内部に投入されて転動する被研掃物に向け的確な
位置に鋼球を投射する様に投射ユニツトを横移動
可能として研掃ムラを生ぜしめなく更に該ドラム
の正逆回転可能に対応して投射ユニツトがこれに
追随して横移動し研掃効果の増大を図り、これが
ひいてはドラム内に貼着するライニングの偏摩耗
を防止し、更に又この回転ドラム全体をフード内
に収容して前記する如きの騒音を外部に洩れない
様にして騒音の低減を図る等種々の工夫を施した
極めて有用なるものである。

た時は回転ドラム3と共に回転可能なる様にし、
更に該回転ドラム3の上端外方のフード5の外側
面に固着する固定板15に、モーター16及び投
射ユニツト17を取着した摺動板18を嵌挿する
と共に固定板15上に取着するシリンダー19の
作動桿20を摺動板18に連結して投射ユニツト
17が横移動可能なる様にしてなるものであつ
て、図中21,21′はシヨツト回収用コンベア
ー、22は被研掃物の投入振動フイーダー、23
はバケツトエレベーター、24はセパレーター、
25,25′,25″は案内ローラーである。

かけて滞留しながら転動するので、この被研掃物
群に向け最も効率よく研掃材を投射する様に投射
ユニツト17を左側に移動させて一定時間これを
研掃するものであり、回転ドラム3の回転によつ
ても転動し難い被研掃物等にあつては、研掃ムラ
をなくする為に、今度は回転ドラム3を左方向に
回転させると共に投射ユニツト17を右側に移動
して同様に一定時間研掃すればドラムの回転速度
の可変と相俟つて如何様な形状の被研掃物であつ
ても研掃ムラなく均一な研掃が可能となるもので
ある。又、回転ドラム3の下側端の排出口14を
閉塞する回転扉13は、アーム12′の下端に回
転自在に軸着しているので、被研掃物の研掃時に
はシリンダー10の作動により回転扉13が回転
ドラム3の排出口14を完全に閉塞して鋼球の乱
反射による外部への飛散をなくして回転ドラム3
と共に正逆回転し、研掃終了時にはシリンダー1
0の作動によつてアーム12′が該回転扉13を
跳ね上げて回転ドラム3の排出口14を開口すれ
ば容易に研掃が完了した被研掃物を排出できるも
