Conventionally, for example, in a concrete wall on the open hallway side of an apartment complex, ventilation holes are drilled in several places at the top and bottom, and ventilation sleeves are attached to these holes. However, it is not easy to create ventilation holes in a concrete wall, and there is also the inconvenience that outside noise can directly enter the room through the ventilation sleeve, reducing the effectiveness of the soundproofing.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the inside of the vertical frame 1a of the aluminum sash 1, which is the window frame, is a hollow part 2, and the outside ventilation is provided between the hollow part and the upper part of the outer and inner wall surfaces of the vertical frame. A hole 3 and an inner ventilation hole 4 are provided. In the illustrated example, the ventilation holes 3 and 4 are provided in opposing positions. The cavity 2 is partitioned by a sound insulating plate 5 into two chambers: a first chamber 2a on the side of the ventilation hole 3 and a second chamber 2b on the side of the ventilation hole 4. Both ends of the sound insulating plate 5 are fixed to the side walls of the vertical frame 1a, and the positional relationship with the inner wall surface (or outer wall surface) is such that the sound insulating plate 5 has an angle that intersects with the inner wall in a planar cross section, that is, it is arranged obliquely. A through hole 6 serving as a cavity is provided in the lower part of the sound insulating plate 5. This through hole 6 is connected to the first chamber 2a and the second chamber.
This is for communicating with the room 2b, and for muffling the sound entering from the outside ventilation hole 3 by detouring it in a U-shape toward the inside ventilation hole 4 within the cavity 2.

Note that the gap is not limited to the above-mentioned through hole 6, but for example, as shown in FIG. may be detoured.

In order to enhance the sound insulation effect, a sound deadening cover 8 may be provided on the outer wall surface of the vertical frame 1a, covering the outside ventilation hole 3 and having an opening facing downward, as shown in FIG. Glass wool may be attached to the inner surface of the sound deadening cover 8, if necessary.

With the above configuration, outdoor sound enters the first chamber 2a of the cavity from the outside ventilation hole 3, passes through the lower ventilation hole 6, and reaches the second chamber 2b, as shown in FIG. It reaches the inner ventilation hole 4. This sound diversion causes the sound to be muffled or made very quiet.

As described above, according to the present invention, the sound insulation effect can be enhanced because the sound is detoured over a long distance inside the hollow part of the vertical frame, and since the ventilation hole is provided in the vertical frame, the ventilation hole is not provided in the vertical frame. No complicated construction work is required for installation. The sound insulating plates are arranged in a direction perpendicular to the inner wall or the outer wall, and both ends are fixed to the side walls, which has the effect of reinforcing the vertical frame and smoothing the flow of air into the cavity.
