けることにより第2図に示すように、テープカセットを
磁気記録再生装置の外部に突出させて収納し、着脱可能
な把持部に発光素子および受光素子を組み込むなどの簡
単な構成で誤消去防止が確実に実現でき、したがってテ
ープカセットの大きさに規制されない小型、軽量の磁気
記録再生装置が実現できる。

部の有無を検知することができ把持部を取りはずし検出
部の無い場合でも確実に誤消去を防止できるもので、磁
気記録再生装置の小型、軽量化および信頼性の向上につ
ながる。
