Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure that scattering of the density and size of recorded dots and positional deviations of the dots can be eliminated, by energizing a plurality of recording electrode needles on a time-sharing basis with a small block as a unit, and controlling the energization so that one dot string recorded in correspondence with one row of the recording electrode needles are recorded by repeating the time-sharing driving a plurality of times. CONSTITUTION:For example, 24 recording electrode needles 1 of a recording head 8 are divided into three blocks, viz. a first block B1 consisting of the first to 8th recording electrode needles, a second block B2 consisting of the 9th to 16th recoding electrode needles, and a third block B3 consisting of the 17th to 24th recording electrode needles. To represents the recording period per one horizontal dot. One dot corresponding to each of the recording electrode needles 1 is recorded by 4 energizing pulses. The width of the energizing pulses is so set that the 4 energizing pulses gives one recorded dot with an appropriate density or in an appropriate size. Accordingly, the positional deviations between the recorded dots corresponding respectively to the blocks B1, B2, B3 can be reduced to 1/4 of those generated in a conventional method.

Figure 4 shows the 0
FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the timing of the energization operation when the recording electrode needle l is energized and driven using a time-division driving method. - As an example, the recording head 8 is composed of 24 recording electrode needles 1, and the timing of each recording electrode needle group is shown when the recording head 8 is divided into 3 parts of 8 each and time-divisionally driven. Electrode needle group B1. B2. B3 are configured to operate sequentially with staggered timings so that they are not energized at the same time. This is due to the fact that in the 1I1 recording method, which has a common return electrode for a large number of recording electrode needles 1, as the number of recording electrode needles that are energized at the same time increases, the current flowing through one recording electrode needle 1 decreases, resulting in a sufficient concentration. There is a problem that dots cannot be recorded, and to solve this problem, it is a very effective means to perform time-division driving and reduce the number of recording electrode needles l that are simultaneously energized.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in a current-carrying recording device using a conventional time-division drive system, the recording electrode needles l of the recording throat 8 are arranged in a straight line in a direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the recording head 8. Since the gutter 8 records while moving, the recorded dots are not lined up in a straight line but are recorded at 1/3 pitch intervals. It turns out. As a result, there is a problem in that recorded characters and images are distorted.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above problems, the J-electronic recording device of the present invention energizes and drives a plurality of recording electrode needles in a time-division manner for each small block, and also drives the recording electrode needles in the - column in a time-division manner. It has a control circuit that controls the energization of the recording electrode needles so that one dot row recorded in correspondence is recorded by repeating time-division driving a plurality of times.

Operation In the present invention, each recording dot 20 is transferred and recorded not by one energization of the recording electrode needle, but by repeating a plurality of energization pulses, so that the positional deviation of the recording dot 20 can be made very small. In addition, each energization pulse is energized at different timings so that the small blocks of divided recording electrode needles are not energized at the same time, so the number of recording electrode needles that are energized at the same time can be reduced, and stable and uniform Recorded dots are obtained.

In addition, each block Bl, B2. The energization timings of B3 are sequentially shifted so that they do not overlap each other. In this way, 24 recording electrode needles 1 are time-divisionally driven, eight at a time, and recording in one vertical column is achieved by repeating the series of time-divisionally driving from 81 to 82 and from B2 to 83 four times. For each block B1. B2. The deviation of recording dots corresponding to B3 can be reduced to 1/4 of that of the conventional method shown in FIG.

As described in detail, the energization recording device of the present invention includes a control circuit that controls the energization of a plurality of recording electrode needles, and this control circuit drives the recording electrode needles in a time-division manner for each small block, and drives the recording electrode needles in a series of time blocks. Since the configuration is such that the energization to the recording electrode needles is controlled so that recording dots are printed in a vertical row by repeating the divided drive multiple times, the density of the recording dots can be increased by reducing the number of recording electrode needles that are energized at the same time. It is possible to eliminate variations in size and position of recording dots, and at the same time eliminate misalignment of recording dots.
