転可能に軸支され操作レバーのシフト方向への操
作により回転する第1のシヤフトと、前記ミツシ
ヨンケース内に臨むレバーを有し前記第1のシヤ
フトに対して周方向へ回転可能かつ軸方向へ摺動
可能に組付けられ摺動時各シフトヘツドに選択的
に係合しかつ回転時係合するシフトヘツドを操作
する第2のシヤフトと、前記両シヤフトの一端側
に配設されたパワーアシスト機構を備え、同パワ
ーアシスト機構は前記ケースカバーの一端に設け
られ前記両シヤフトの側方へ直交して延びるシリ
ンダと、このシリンダの内孔内に液密的かつ軸方
向へ摺動可能に組付けられ同内孔内を軸方向の2
つの油室に区画する中空シヤフト状のピストンと
、このピストンの内孔内に軸方向へ摺動可能に組
付けられて同ピストンとともに切換弁機構を構成
し摺動時前記両油室に対する作動油の給排を選択
的に制御するロツド状のバルブスプールと、前記
第1のシヤフトの一端に一体回転可能に組付けら
れて前記バルブスプールに係合し同シヤフトの回
転を同バルブスプールに伝達してその軸方向の摺
動に変換する第1の連結レバーと、前記第2のシ
ヤフトの一端に一体回転可能に組付けられて前記
ピストンに係合し同ピストンの軸方向の摺動を同
シヤフトに伝達してその回転に変換する第2の連
結レバーを備えてなり、前記ピストンにはその外
周に軸方向幅が所定幅の第1の係合凹所とこの係
合凹所に並列し同ピストンの内孔を貫通する軸方
向に延びる所定長の長孔を設けるとともに、前記
