Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain excellent impact strength and at the same time contrive to reduce cost by a method wherein a base cup is formed by biaxially stretching an injection-molded thermoplastic polyester resin perform. CONSTITUTION:A bottomed preform 15 is molded by injecting molten polyethylene terephthalate resin 15 from an injection unit 13 into a cavity, which is formed by closing an injection male mold 10 and an injection female mold 11 with a neck mold 12 therebetween for filling. Next, the perform 15 together with the neck mold 12 is transferred to a blow mold 16. The molds are closed under the state that a blow sealing mold 19, at the center of which a stretching rod 17 and an air passage 18 are provided, is inserted in the neck mold 12. After that, an above-mentioned base cup 2 having a sectional form fitting to the bottom of a container 1 is formed by axially stretching the preform 15 by extending the stretching rod 17, and at the same time expanding the preform 15 so as to fill up the cavity by blowing air in the preform. In the base cup 2 formed as mentioned above, its opening peripheral edge part 2a is not stretched biaxially, but a cylindrical parts 2b and 2c are stretched biaxially.

のコスト節減を図ることもできるなどの特長を有する。
