Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to apply a fuel remaining amount indicating system by fuel weight measurement to various fuel containers, by supporting a fuel container on a vehicle body through the intermediary of attaching fixtures, by providing elements for detecting strains in the attaching fixtures and by proving damping parts in a fuel feed pipe and the like. CONSTITUTION:A fuel container 1 is fixed to a vehicle body 7 by means of bolts 2 and nuts 2a through the intermediary of a plurality of attaching fixtures 4. Detecting elements 4a for detecting strains in the attaching fixtures 4 are fixed to the upper surfaces of the attaching fixtures. Further, a fuel feed pipe 5 and a fuel transfer pipe 6 are fixed to the fuel container 1 and the vehicle body 7, respectively, and damping sections 5a, 6a which are formed from rubber pipes or the like in bellows shapes are attached to the intermediate parts of the fixed sections thereof, respectively. With this arrangement, when the strains in the attaching fixtures 4 vary due to a variation in the weight of the remaining fuel in the fuel container 1, the detecting elements 4a, 4a deliver signals corresponding to these strains 4a, 4a. Further, a signal system 8 indicates the amount of the remaining fuel on a digital indicating section 9.

1. Field of Industrial Application The present invention relates to the structure of a fuel tank for vehicles such as automobiles. [Prior Art] In recent years, due to demands for compact vehicle designs, the shape of fuel tanks, especially fuel containers, has become more complex. When the vehicle is tilting or accelerating, conventional liquid level measurement methods such as the float type cannot provide accurate measurements. Particularly, accuracy is required when the remaining amount is small, but the error at this time is large and is inconvenient in practice.

In view of the above disadvantages, the above disadvantages can be overcome by measuring the weight of the fuel in each fuel tank and displaying the remaining amount of fuel instead of measuring the liquid level and displaying the remaining amount of fuel. The present invention aims to provide a fuel tank structure that allows the fuel remaining amount display system based on weight measurement to operate most effectively. [Means for solving the problem] In the present invention, the fuel container is not directly fixed to the vehicle body.
Measures the ■Φ of fuel in a fuel container by fixing it through multiple mounting brackets and installing detection elements that convert the strain of the mounting brackets into electrical characteristics and output signals. Furthermore, by providing an 8% section in the shape of a bellows between the fixed part to the vehicle body and the fuel container, the fuel supply pipe and oil supply pipe can be easily measured by weight. The effect on the system was reduced to a negligible level. [Example 1] Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained using the drawings. FIG. 1 is a side view of the fuel tank of the embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a block diagram of a remaining fuel amount display system using the fuel tank of the embodiment. The fuel container 1 is fixed to the vehicle body 7 via a plurality of fittings 4 with bolts 2 and nuts 2a. The fuel container 1 is supported by a plurality of fittings 4. A detection element 4a is fixed on each of the fittings 4 to detect the distortion of the fittings 4 that occurs in response to the heavy color of the fuel container 1 and output a signal as a change in electrical characteristics. The material, shape, and dimensions of the mounting bracket 4 are appropriately designed depending on the capacity of the fuel container 1, the required detection of the remaining amount of fuel, and the like. As the detection element 4a, a sensor device, such as a metal strain gauge or a semiconductor strain gauge, whose electrical characteristics change depending on the strain of the object to be measured is added with a signal generation circuit. The refueling pipe 5 and the refueling vibro are fixed to the fuel container 1 and also to the vehicle body 7, and there are buffer parts 5a, 6a in which tubes such as rubber are molded into a bellows shape in the middle of each fixed part.
have each. The shape of the buffer part is not limited to a bellows shape, but can be any shape as long as it is sufficient to buffer the effects of vibrations of the fuel supply pipe 5 and the fixing part of the fuel feed vibro on the vehicle body 7 side, and to block the heavy color on the vehicle body 7 side from the buffer part. However, simply using a pipe made of soft material has the same slight effect. When this fuel tank is used in a fuel remaining amount display system based on weight measurement, the strain on the plurality of fittings 4 supporting the fuel container 1 changes due to a change in the weight of the remaining fuel amount in the fuel container 1. Each of the detection elements 4a outputs a corresponding number 1, which is processed by the signal processing system 8 and sent to the digital display section 9, where the remaining amount of fuel in the fuel container 1 is displayed. In this embodiment, the detection element 4a, which is a sensor device with a signal generation circuit added thereto, is fixed to the mounting bracket 4, but the bolts 2,
The sensor device may be built into the nut 2a or the mounting bracket 4, or the bolt 2, the nut 2a, or the mounting bracket 4 itself may be configured as a sensor device. (Effect of the invention 1 According to the 4 mm fuel tank for a vehicle according to the present invention, the fuel container is not directly fixed to the vehicle body, but is supported by a plurality of mounting brackets, and the strain of the mounting brackets can be reduced electrically. We installed a detection element that outputs a signal with 15% of the fuel, and also provided a buffer section on the fuel supply pipe and oil supply pipe to buffer the effects of the color of the fuel supply and the fixation of the fuel supply pipe to the vehicle body. When applied to a fuel remaining amount display system based on weight measurement, which measures the weight of each fuel to display the remaining amount of fuel, the material of the mounting bracket, Since the shape and dimensions can be designed appropriately, it can be applied to fuel containers of any shape and capacity, and has the advantage of allowing accurate measurements without being affected by the fixed parts of the fuel supply pipe and fuel pipe on the vehicle body. Yes, this is due to the structure of the fuel tank for light rain use, which is effective for use in a fuel remaining amount display system based on weight measurement.
