Claims (1)
- 駆動カム軸と被駆動カム軸とを、固定枠に形成
した各軸受部に回転自在に支持させるとともにこ
れら各カム軸に固定されたはすば歯車を介して相
互に連結し、前記軸受部は前記カム軸の外周を支
持するシリンダヘツド及びカムキヤツプとこれら
シリンダヘツド及びカムキヤツプの両側に近接し
て位置するよう前記カム軸に形成された両フラン
ジとにより構成し、前記軸受部のカム軸外周に沿
つて軸方向に複数の油溝を設けたカム軸の支持構
造において、前記カム軸のスラストを受ける側に
おける前記シリンダヘツド側面と前記フランジ側
面との間の隙間を、前記カムキヤツプ側面と該フ
ランジ側面との間の隙間より大となし、前記カム
キヤツプ内周に油溝を設けるとともに該油溝は前
記スラストを受ける側とは反対側の前記カム軸外
周の油溝にのみ連通させたことを特徴とするカム
軸の支持構造。
