。There are two types of holograms: transmissive and reflective. Transmission-type holograms use a laser beam to record the reflected light from the subject on a dry plate at the time of withdrawal, and at the same time, at the time of reproduction, the reproduction light is irradiated from the back side of the dry plate so that a virtual image (or real (!i)) can be seen. Therefore, a laser light source is mainly required as the reproduction light.

Although necessary, a three-dimensional image can also be reproduced by using a general light source from the laser beam irradiation direction during reproduction during reproduction. That is, a reflection type hologram can use a general light source during reproduction.

For this reason, conventional displays using holograms have been static image displays for decoration or advertising.

。(Function) In the present invention having such a configuration, the light area irradiated from the light source to the hologram recording surface of the dry plate through the optical shutter array is variably controlled by changing the electric signal, so that the hologram recording surface of the dry plate is variably controlled. It is possible to control not to display part of a still image, and this makes it possible to switch the display.

The optical shutter array 4 is made of a PLZT ceramic plate, and transparent M145.6 made of the same PLZT ceramic is laminated on both sides. The optical shutter array 4 is divided into a plurality of parts in a matrix, and control terminals 7 and 8 for controlling each divided part are provided at the negative end of the array so as to face each other. For example, the control terminal 7 is provided with signal lines that control the vertical rows of each divided piece, and the control terminal 8 is provided with signal lines that control the horizontal rows of each divided piece.

Then, a control electrical signal is input to the control terminal 7° 8 of the optical shutter array 4, and the refractive index of each divided piece in a matrix is selectively changed, so that light is irradiated from the light source 9 onto the recording surface of the dry plate 1. Variable control of area. For example, as shown in FIG.
'' is recorded, the optical shutter array 4 is controlled so that the light is not irradiated on a part of that value, and the reproduced image displays the numerical value "7" as shown in FIG. 4, for example. Variable so that By doing this, it becomes possible to display the number 11rOJ to "9". Therefore, for example, r88 on the recording surface of dry plate 1:
If the information 88J is recorded, it becomes possible to display the time that changes moment by moment depending on the signal input to the control terminal 7.8.

In front of the hologram recording surface of 1', the light area irradiated from the light source 9 to the recording surface can be variably controlled, and the hologram 1' is placed in a position that is not blocked from light in the direction in which the reproduced image from the dry plate 1' is viewed. For example, when the dry plate 1 is set upright and the light source 9 is installed diagonally above the recording surface of the dry plate 1, the optical shutter array 4 is placed above the dry plate 1 so as to be substantially perpendicular to the dry plate 1.
That is, it is sufficient to arrange it approximately horizontally so that the reproduced image can be viewed from approximately in front of the recording surface of the dry plate 1.
