Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent dehumidifying performance from being lowered due to electrolytic corrosion, by providing a partition plate between an aluminum-made evaporator and a capillary tube connected therewith. CONSTITUTION:In a dehumidifying operation, water arising from dehumidification is adhered not only to an aluminum-made evaporator 8 but also to a capillary tube 14, a copper-made connecting pipe 18 and the like. A partition plate 7 is provided with a cutout part 19 to be set astride the connecting pipe 18 which is U-shaped, whereby the evaporator 8 and an inlet pipe 16 are separated from the capillary tube 14, and the inlet pipe 16 is connected to the upper side of an upstream-side connecting port 17, while the connecting pipe 18 is connected to the lower side of the port 17. Water arising from dehumidification and adhered to the tube 14 and the pipe 18 does not make contact with the evaporator 8 or the inlet pipe 16, so the evaporator 8 and the inlet pipe 16 can be prevented from electrolytically corroded, and dehumidifying performance can be secured.

2 and 3 are detailed views of the vicinity of the aluminum evaporator 8 in FIG. A copper connecting pipe 18 extends from an upstream connecting port 17 of the inlet pipe 16, and a capillary tube 14 is located upstream thereof. Reference numeral 19 denotes a notch in the partition plate 7, which is shaped to straddle the U-shaped copper connection pipe 18, and separates the aluminum evaporator 8 and inlet pipe 16 from the capillary tube 14.

In the basic configuration diagram shown in FIG. 1, the refrigerant from the compressor 2 is liquefied in the condenser 9, reduced in pressure in the capillary tube 14,
It passes through the copper connection pipe 18 and upstream connection port 17 shown in Figures 2 and 3, and is evaporated from the inlet pipe 16 by the aluminum evaporator 8, removes moisture from the air in the living room (dehumidifies), and compresses the air. This serves as a refrigerant flow path returning to machine 2.

During this dehumidifying operation, the dehumidified water adheres not only to the aluminum evaporator 8 but also to the capillary tube 14, the copper connecting pipe 18, and the like. Therefore, the notch 19 of the partition plate 7 is shaped to straddle the U-shaped copper connection pipe 18, and the aluminum evaporator 8 and inlet pipe 16 are connected to the capillary tube 1.
Further, an inlet pipe 16 is connected to the upper side of the upstream side connection port 17, and a copper connecting pipe 18 is connected to the lower side of the upstream side connection port 17.
