従つて、前記接離部材によつて前記両者のカム
を連結することにより、端編針のバツトの選別を
為すことができることはもとより、特に、針抜き
編の場合や、端編針の選別を必要としない場合に
は、前記接離部材を前記非連結状態に切替える簡
単な操作により、前記両者のカムの連結を断つ
て、その端針作動カムの作用を無効にすることが
でき、これによつて当初に述べた従来のものの如
き欠点を確実に除去し得るものである。

【特許請求の範囲】 1 針床上での摺動により編地編成に関与する稼
動編針群のバツトを異なる二つのバツト通路に誘
導して模様編若しくは編目移転等を為すキヤリジ
に、稼動編針群の端部の編針に続く編成休止状態
の休止編針のバツトを感知する休止針感知カム
と、その休止針感知カムによる休止編針の感知に
関連して前記稼働編針群の端部の端編針のバツト
を前記二つのバツト通路の内の特定の一つのバツ
ト通路に導入可能な位置に移動させる端針作動カ
ムとを備えた端針作動装置に於いて、 前記休止針感知カムを、前記休止編針のバツト
に係合する係合位置と係合しない非係合位置との
間に移動可能に装置すると共に、前記端針作動カ
ムを、前記稼動編針のバツトに係合してそのバツ
トを移動させる作用位置とバツトに係合しない不
作用位置との間に移動可能に装置し、 前記休止針感知カムと端針作動カムとの間に、
その休止針感知カムが前記休止編針のバツトとの
係合によつて前記係合位置から非係合位置に移動
した時これと一体的に前記端針作動カムを前記不
作用位置から作用位置に移動させるようにその両
者を連結する連結状態と前記両者の連結を解除し
てその両者の各別の移動を許容させる非連結状態
とに切替え可能な接離部材を設けたことを特徴と
する手編機の端針作動装置。 2 前記接離部材を、前記両者のいずれか一方の
カムに支持すると共に、その接離部材に、他方の
カムの所定係合面に係合して前記両者を前記連結
