- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 液晶表示素子板の背面中央に配置された線状光
源からのバツクライトを拡散して前記液晶表示素
子板の裏面に導くバツクライト拡散装置であつて
、 比較的光透過率の低い透光性材料からなり、前
記線状光源に近傍で且つ平行に配置された第１の
光散乱体と、比較的光透過率の高い透光性材料か
らなり前記液晶表示素子板の背面に配置された第
２の光散乱体とを組合わせて拡散板を構成したこ
とを特徴とする液晶表示装置のバツクライト拡散
装置。
