Claims (1)
向に沿つて、上記感光体の表面に対面して配置さ
れた複数の点光源と、これら各点光源間に配置さ
れた各遮光板とで構成されたイレース装置を使用
して、指定した画像領域以外のイレース領域の静
電潜像を消去してコピーする編集コピーモードと
、上記原稿の全画像をコピーする通常コピーモー
ドとを選択的に機能させることのできる複写機に
おいて、 互いに隣接する上記各点光源の上記感光体の表
面上での光照射域の重なり量を、上記感光体表面
と上記各点光源との離間距離を変化させて調節し
、上記編集コピーモードが機能している状態で上
記重なり量を最小とし、上記通常コピーモードが
機能している状態で上記重なり量を最大とする光
照射域調節手段と、 上記編集コピーモードが機能している状態で上
記感光体の表面のイレース領域の表面電位を相殺
