型の研削砥石を当該砥石の研削面を平行に対面さ
せて取付固定し、両砥石軸とこれを駆動する原動
機との間に、原動機の回転出力を両砥石軸に同一
回転数で回動方向のみを互に逆方向に変換する動
力伝達機構を介在させ、且つ、両砥石軸の少なく
とも一方に当該砥石軸を軸方向に進退して砥石研
削面の対向間隔を変化し得る間隔調節機構を付加
すると共に、片方の砥石軸をその中心軸線に対し
前後の方向へ直角に移動して双方の砥石研削面を
食違いに対向させてあることを特徴とする形鋼等
