Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of molding work and to obtain an interior material having excellent appearance, by inserting the interior material in the recessed part of a mold at a molding time while the rotary member provided on the end edge part of the mold is rotated in such a state that the interior material is brought into contact with said rotary member. CONSTITUTION:Recessed parts 34, 34 are formed to both sides of a lower mold 32 and a protruded part 35 is formed to the central part thereof while the protruded parts 36, 36 engaging with the recessed parts 34, 34 are provided to both sides of an upper mold 33 and a recessed part 37 is formed to the central part thereof. A rotary member 45 is arranged to the end edge part of the lower mold 32 on the side of the mold registering part 41 thereof so as to be linearly formed to the end edge part 42 of the lower mold 32 contacting with the raw sheet material 11 of a floor carpet at such an initial stage that said raw sheet material 11 is inserted in the recessed parts 34 of the lower mold 11 while being pressed by the protruded parts 36 of the upper mold 33. Therefore, the raw sheet material 11 of the floor carpet is inserted in the recessed parts 34 under pressure while contacting with the rotary member 45 and the contact resistance generated by the contact of the raw sheet material 11 with the end edge part of the mold is reduced to prevent the damage of the interior material.
