Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily and accurately classify plural communication texts recorded continuously on a recording sheet, by recording a prescribed pattern at the segment of each communication text recorded on the recording sheet. CONSTITUTION:A transmission control part 1 outputs a reception completing signal to a pattern generating part 4 at a time when it recognizes the completion of the reception of a picture signal. The pattern generating part 4 generates a pattern set in advance representing the segment of one time of communication, and outputs it to a reception recording part 3 with a prescribed timing. Thus, since the pattern representing the segment of one time of communication is printed after completing the recording of the final page of the picture signal in one time of communication, and a first page in the next time of communication is recorded behind the pattern, it is possible to recognize the segment of each communication text at a glance by finding the above stated pattern, even when the plural communication texts from plural transmission origins are printed continuously on the recording sheet, therefore, it is possible to classify the plural communication texts easily and accurately.

(Prior Art) Some facsimile machines do not have an automatic cutter for cutting recording sheets, and in such devices, the number of recording sheets that are received is simply connected and output. Therefore, when the facsimile machine is in the automatic reception mode, the received data from a plurality of transmission sources are outputted in a state where they are continuously recorded on recording paper. By the way, the sender's address, etc. are printed at the beginning of each message, and if you look carefully, you can tell the difference between each message.
In some cases, the boundaries between messages are unclear, and it is difficult to cut the recording paper on which multiple messages from multiple senders are recorded consecutively and separate each message. There was a drawback. Here, one message is obtained by printing a series of image signals received during one communication when a facsimile device is connected to another facsimile device via a telephone line, and does not include text, graphics, etc. It refers to a series of data.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) As described above, when cutting and dividing recording paper output by a conventional facsimile machine without an automatic cutter into individual messages, it is difficult to see the divisions between each message at a glance. Therefore, the above-mentioned classification has the disadvantage that it is difficult to work and it is easy to cause mistakes. The present invention therefore eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages. It is an object of the present invention to provide a facsimile device that can easily and accurately classify a plurality of messages.

(Function) In the facsimile apparatus of the present invention, the detection means includes one
When a break in the reception of a message is detected, this is notified to the recording control means, and the recording control means sends the pattern generated by the pattern generation means to the recording section of the facsimile machine, and records one message on the received record sheet. The pattern is printed at the interval between the lines. Therefore, the operator can easily identify the pattern by looking at the pattern recorded on the recording paper.
You can know the boundaries of correspondence.

The figure is a block diagram showing an embodiment of a facsimile apparatus of the present invention. Reference numeral 1 denotes a transmission control unit that captures the line 5 and sends and receives a predetermined control signal to and from the other party's facsimile machine to prepare for reception, and then transmits and receives an image signal to the other party's facsimile machine; 2, the transmission control unit 1; 3 is a reception recording section that prints the image signal given from the restoration section 2 on a receiving recording paper; 4 is a reception recording section that receives the image signal from the transmission control section 1; A pattern generating section 5 which generates a preset pattern upon receiving the end signal and outputs it to the reception recording section 3 is a telephone line (hereinafter simply referred to as the line).

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained. First, when a call is made from the sender's facsimile machine @ (not shown) via the line 5 by dialing, the transmission control unit 1 automatically seizes the line 5 (automatic reception mode) and then transmits the call to the other party's facsimile. Control signals such as a called station identification signal and a digital identification signal are transmitted and received with the device based on a transmission control procedure compatible with the G3 mode recommended by the International Telegraph and Telephone Consultative Committee (CCITT), for example. Further, the transmission control unit 1 notifies the sending side facsimile machine that reception preparation is normal by transmitting and receiving the control signal, and thereby starts receiving the image signal sent via the line 5. Normally, the image signal is transmitted in an encoded format from the sending facsimile device, so the transmission control section 1 sends the received image signal to the decoding section 2, where the image signal is decoded. . The image signals decoded by the decoding section 2 are sequentially transmitted to the reception recording section 3. In the receiving recording section 3, the receiving image signal is recorded line by line on the receiving recording paper, and the receiving recording paper is fed to record one page of the received image signal.

On the other hand, when the transmission control unit 1 finishes receiving the image signal for one page, it notifies the transmitting facsimile machine that the image signal for the next page has been received according to the specified transmission control procedure, and also sends the image signal for the next page. Check whether or not there is confirmation. When the image signal of the next page is to be transmitted, the transmission control unit 1 decodes the received image signal with the decoding unit 2 and passes it to the reception recording unit 3 in the same way as described above, so that the image signal of the next page can be printed. is performed by the reception recording section 3. The reception recording section 3 records the received image signal on the recording paper for each page as described above, and at this time, as shown in FIG. 2, broken lines are recorded at the page divisions to indicate the page divisions.

At this time, the transmission control section 1 outputs a reception end signal to the pattern generation section 4 when it recognizes that the reception of the image signal has ended. When the pattern generating section 4 receives the reception end signal, it generates a preset pattern that indicates the break of one communication, and outputs this to the reception recording section 3 at a predetermined timing. On the other hand, in the reception recording section 3, since there is a distance l between the printing section 5 of the received image signal and the cutter section 6 as shown in FIG. 3, the reception recording paper 7 is fed by the distance l at the end of one communication. to end the recording operation. However, the cutter is a manual cutter. Since the pattern from the pattern generation section 4 is input to the reception recording section 3 at the feeding timing of the reception recording paper of the reception recording section 3, the pattern is inputted to the reception recording section 3 at the feeding timing of the reception recording paper, so that the pattern is generated between the previous communication port and the current communication port as shown in FIG. It is recorded in the margin C of the reception recording paper that occurs between the two. In the example shown in Figure 2, the pattern is the message "This is the delimiter of reception," but it is not limited to this, and any symbol, figure, etc. can be used as long as the delimiter of one communication can be seen. Anything is fine.

According to this embodiment, after the last page of the image signal in one communication is recorded, a pattern indicating the break of one communication is printed, and the first page of the next communication is recorded after the pattern, so the recording paper Even if multiple messages from multiple senders are printed consecutively on the computer, the separation between each message can be known at a glance by looking at the pattern, so multiple messages can be easily and accurately printed. The classification of correspondence can improve work efficiency.
