なければならないので、操作が面倒であつて作業
能率が低く、又、刃物の支持角を変えて刃砥ぎ角
の調整を行う場合は、調整の都度若干の角度誤差
を生じ、刃砥ぎ角にばらつきを生ずる問題点があ
つた。

する場合は、荒砥ぎと仕上砥ぎの角度が常に一定
に揃つてばらつきを生ずることがなく、又、刃物
保持体の傾きを加減して刃先角を変えるときも荒
砥ぎと仕上砥ぎの角度差が一定される特有の効果
を奏するものである。
