Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent paper sheets from being scratched and from being reversed upside down, by providing an intermediate roller supported by a spring between paper discharge rollers and a resilient guide in the rear of the discharge rollers. CONSTITUTION:A paper sheet 5 is forced to be curved by an intermediate roller 6 so that a certain rigidity is given to the paper sheet 5 which is therefore discharged maintaining its horizontal posture. Further, the intermediate roller 6 is retained by a leaf spring 7, having vertical freedom, and therefore, it prevent the paper sheet 5 from being scratched. Further, a resilient guide 8 supports the paper sheet 5 at the lower side of the latter even just after the sheet 6 is released from rollers 1 through 4 during discharge of the paper sheet 5, and therefore, the paper sheet 5 is stacked onto a stacker 9 without being reversed upside down. Further, it is possible to widen the adjusting range of spring force of the intermediate roller 6 without the paper sheet 5 being scratched, thereby it is possible to reduce the man-hours of adjustment.

[Problem to be Solved by the Invention 3] When free-flight stacking is performed in the paper sheet discharge section of a paper sheet conveying device, the paper sheets may bend and turn over if only the drive roller and pressure roller are used.

そこで紙葉に曲げくせを与えるローラを設け。To solve this problem, we installed a roller that bends the paper.

紙葉に剛性を与え、スタックする方法が考案された。A method was devised to give paper sheets more rigidity and to stack them.

In order to give rigidity to the paper sheets, a paper guide with spring properties is installed behind the intermediate roller that forcibly curves the paper sheets. This supports the paper sheets immediately after being ejected, and prevents the paper sheets from turning over. Also, the intermediate roller is held down by a spring and is movable depending on the condition of the paper sheet to prevent damage to the paper sheet.
