Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a vulcanizer and other applicances from being damaged through corrosion and noxious gas from diffusing to atmosphere by a method wherein a green rubber sheet is windingly installed onto the outer peripheral surface of a mold and, after that, a sheet containing gas adsorbent or a chemical reagent is enclosedly installed, the outer peripheral surface of the mold wound with the green rubber sheet and finally pressure and heat are applied from the outer surface of the resultant mold. (産業上の利用分野) 本発明はゴム製品加硫時に発生する有害ガスを特殊なシ
ートに吸着して加硫時に使用する加硫缶の腐食損傷の防
止ならびに公害防止に有効なゴム製品の加硫方法に関す
るものである。 (従来の技術) 従来■ベルト、ポリ■ベルト、歯付ベルト等のゴム製品
の製造時には表面に凹凸を有する円筒状金型に予め所定
の形に成形したゴム成形体を凹部に嵌合するか、金型表
面に帆布、抗張体ローブ、未加硫ゴムシートを順次巻付
け、しかる後この金型を加硫缶に設置固定し、更にゴム
成形体の外周面に円筒状ゴム製ジャケットを挿入し、加
硫缶にスチームを送入してジャケット外部より加圧、加
熱する方法がとられていた。 しかし、最近ではCR(クロロプレンゴム)、C3M 
(クロロスルフォン化ポリエチレン)等を使用したゴム
製品では加硫時にHCI(塩化水素ガス)、502(亜
硫酸ガス)等の酸性ガスを発生し、このガスが加硫缶を
腐食損傷するばかりでなく、大気中に拡散して公害上の
問題を起こしていた。このような問題を解決すべく、加
硫缶にステンレス材質のものを使用したり、また酸性ガ
スの補強対策として加硫缶の外に大規模なダクト設備と
ガスのアルカリ中和装置を設置する必要がありコスト高
になる問題があった。 (発明が解決しようとする問題点) 本発明はこのような問題点に着目し、これらの欠点を改
善するものであり、その目的とするところはゴム製品加
硫時に発生する有害ガスをガス吸着剤含有シートに吸着
または反応せしめることによって加硫缶、その外の器具
の腐食損傷ならびに上記有害ガスの大気拡散による公害
を防止することにある。 (問題点を解決するための手段) 即ち、本発明の特徴とするゴム製品の加硫方法は、金型
の外周面に所定厚みの未加硫ゴムシートを捲回装着した
後、更にその外周面に円筒状のガス吸着剤含有シート(
ジャケット)を挿入装着し、密閉状態にして外面から加
圧、加熱することによりゴム中より発生する酸性ガスを
シートのガス吸着剤に吸着中和せしめ、大気中へのガス
飛散を防止する点にある。 ここで、上記発明に使用されるガス吸着剤は活性炭をは
じめ苛性ソーダ、消石灰、重炭酸ソーダなどで、これら
を帆布に含浸させるかゴム製ジャケットに塗布被着せし
めた形で使用される。 (実施例) 添付図面は本発明のゴム製品加硫方法の一実施例を示す
ものであり、以下図面に従って本発明加硫方法を説明す
る。図において、(1)は加硫缶を示しこの缶内に加硫
するゴム製品を設置する。加硫缶(1)は底(2)と蓋
(3)を備えている。蓋(3)は開閉するように蝶番(

方法であって、加硫中にゴム中より発生する酸性有害ガ
スをシートの吸着剤に吸収することができるため、従来
の如く、加硫缶を腐食損傷することなく、公害防止にも
寄与することができ、更に大規模なダクト、中和装置等
を必要とせず、コスト面でも安価にできるなどの数多く
の利点を有している。
