Claims (1)
- クランク軸を共通にした複数気筒のうち少なく
とも一つの気筒を、他の燃焼用気筒に対する過給
用の気筒にし、該過給用気筒に逆止弁付き吸気通
路を介して吸入した空気を、他の燃焼用気筒に各
々過給通路を介して送気するように構成した多気
筒内燃機関において、前記過給用気筒への吸気通
路の入口端には、長さの長い低速用の大気空気取
入管と長さの短い高速用の大気空気取入管とを接
続し、且つ、前記吸気通路に対する前記両大気空
気取入管の接続部には、常時ばねにて前記高速用
大気空気取入管の閉に付勢され圧力室に大気圧以
上の圧力が作用すると前記高速用大気空気取入管
を開くようにした圧力作動式の吸気切換弁を設け
、該吸気切換弁における圧力室を、前記過給用気
筒から燃焼用気筒への過給通路に圧力伝達通路を
介して接続し、該圧力伝達通路中には、圧力室の
方向へのみ開くようにした逆止弁と機関が高回転
域なると開く制御弁を設けたことを特徴とする過
給式多気筒内燃機関。
