It has the function of dividing into numbers. Then, image signals are sent to the magnetic heads 2 corresponding to each primary color. Other mechanical configurations are similar to conventional offset printing devices.

The data of each divided color is expressed on 166 pixels per 1 m, and each pixel is also subjected to seed calculation processing to be expressed with the number of gradations of 64 or more gradations.

Since the portion of the magnetic drum to be magnetized is a non-image area, the above image data is converted into non-image area data to be magnetized. Data corresponding to the non-image area is sent to the magnetic head 2, and the portion of the magnetic drum 1 corresponding to the non-image area is magnetized. (The image area is not magnetized.) Alternatively, it is possible to magnetize the entire magnetic drum 1 and then demagnetize only one image area. When the magnetized outer surface of the magnetic drum 1 is delivered to the magnetic powder supply section 4, magnetic powder whose surface has been treated to be hydrophilic and mixed with a fixing agent is supplied, and its magnetic force is applied only to the magnetic latent image area. attached and retained.

。Next, the magnetic powder on the magnetic drum is transferred to the plate cylinder 8 by applying an electrostatic field or a reverse magnetic field, which is used in ordinary copying machines, when the magnetic powder comes into contact with the plate cylinder 8. The transferred magnetic powder is fixed by a fixing roll 12 onto the surface of the plate cylinder, which has been treated to have ink affinity.

This K can perform the same function as a conventional offset printing plate. The ink in the image area on the outer surface of the plate cylinder is transferred to the outer surface of the blanket roll 9, and the printing paper coming from the printing paper supply section 11 is transferred to the impression cylinder lO.
When passing between the paper and the blanket 90, the paper is transferred to the printing paper, and printing is performed.
