(Conventional technology and its problems) Conventionally, the top plate is made of a material that has appropriate elasticity, heat retention, and shape retention for footwear, and is cut to the required foot shape.
This is integrated by gluing or the like onto the sole plate of sandals or shoes having the desired thickness and shape. However, since this top plate uses a flat plate-like material that has the necessary elasticity, it is possible to achieve the initial purpose in terms of elasticity, but we have improved this by making it even more comfortable to wear. Further improvements were required to reduce fatigue. For this reason, a core plate for footwear as shown in Utility Model Publication No. 54-35792 has been proposed, in which a core with the required elasticity is heated and then cooled to form a sole-shaped recess in a compression press. It is molded to look like this. This method has the drawback of high equipment and processing costs because a special mold is required for press working.

(Means for solving the problem) In view of this, the present invention was developed to make the material at room temperature without heating or cooling, and with simple equipment and method without using a special mold press. It provides a top plate that is easy to fit and comfortable to wear, and is made of a board material with the required thickness and elasticity, and is placed on the sole of the foot from the heel to the fifth toe, excluding the outer periphery of the sole and the arch of the foot. The part corresponding to the root part and the part corresponding to the fingertips of the five fingers are made into one piece by overlapping the top plate and the back plate on both sides of the core plate, which are perforated independently or continuously, and bonding them under compression. The present invention relates to a top plate for footwear having a recess formed on the surface to easily fit the sole of the foot.

First, a core plate 1 is formed by punching out a foot-shaped material from a material suitable for footwear such as appropriate flexibility, elasticity, shape retention, heat retention, and foot protection, such as a synthetic resin such as an EVA foam board. When this molded core plate 1 is used as a sole plate of sandals or athletic shoes, a heel or other sole plate is bonded to the core plate so as to have an appropriate thickness. When punching the core plate 1 in the shape of a foot, it is shaped to fit the sole of the foot so that it fits easily into the sole of the foot, for example, leaving the outer periphery of the sole and the arch of the foot, and extending from the heel to the front of the arch near the base of the foot. A continuous sole-shaped hole 2 and finger holes 3 at the tips of the five toes (up to the first joint) are drilled.

In addition, a front plate 4 and a back plate 5 are aligned and glued to the front and back sides of this core plate 1 to form a single body, but these have been previously punched out in the shape of a foot in the same way as the core plate 1. shall be. The top plate 4 is made of a material that can be used as the top plate of footwear as it is, or is colored, or has cloth, leather, etc. glued to the surface, and is thinner than the core plate 1. or one of the same thickness is used.

In addition, the back plate 5 has a required thickness, and when the core plate 1 and the front plate 4 are bonded together and used as a sole plate of athletic shoes or sandals, the required thickness as a sole plate is used. A material that is resistant to wear and tear is used, and a thin material is used when a separately manufactured bottom plate is bonded to this backing plate.

The core plate 1, front plate 4, and back plate 5 cut as described above are stacked one above the other with the core plate 1 in between, and an adhesive is applied to the adhesive surfaces. Then, when the stacked three plates are pressed and compressed, each plate is compressed. At this time, the front and back plates are inserted into the holes 2 and 3 of the core plate, and the front and back plates are directly bonded in this hole area, and in other areas, the front and back plates are bonded with the core plate in between. are glued together.

In this state, it has a flat plate shape made up of three polymerized plates. When the compression by the press is released after bonding, the elasticity of the core plate restores it to its original thickness, but since the top plate and back plate are directly bonded at the holes 2 and 3, This part has no core plate and has not been restored. Therefore, if the top plate is softer or thinner than the back plate, the back plate side will maintain a flat surface, but the top plate side will be damaged due to the restoration of the core plate and the shape retention strength of the back plate. The hole becomes depressed. These depressions 2a and 3a are designed to fit easily into the sole of the foot.

In the above description, the top plate was used for footwear such as sandals, shoes, and sandals, but if the three layers of the back plate, core plate, and top plate are made thin, it can also be used as an insole for shoes.

In the above example, the core plate and both the front and back plates are cut in advance into the shape of a foot, and three pieces are stacked and glued together in a compressed state. However, for mass production, the core plate must first be drilled with desired holes at predetermined positions on the sole of the foot. The top plate is made of a large board with holes in it.
It is also possible to fabricate the back plate by compression bonding and then punching out or cutting each piece into a foot shape in accordance with the perforation positions of the core plate.

(Effect of the invention) When using the invention, a core plate with the required cushioning properties is perforated along the sole surface of the foot so that it can easily fit into the sole of the foot, and other plates are applied to the front and back of the core plate to compress it. Since it is glued in place, the upper surface forms an indentation that easily conforms to the soles of the feet, so when used as a top plate for footwear, it is comfortable to wear, and it also conforms to the soles of the feet, so you don't get tired.
